ServiceMaster was referred to us by our homeowners insurance company following a significant flood in our home caused by a busted hot water heater. We could not have been more pleased with their efforts! They attended to us promptly, and were well-staffed and well-equipped. It was clear from the start that they possessed the experience, know-how, and tools of the trade needed to assess and mitigate our damage, which they determined to be quite a bit more extensive than we had realized. They used sophisticated tools to track the water damage and determine what had been compromised. Over the course of several days, they efficiently packed up our house; located a nearby, climate-controlled storage facility; and systematically moved furniture and other household items off-site. They strategically set up industrial-sized fans, air purifiers, and dehumidifiers throughout the house to dry everything out, which took another week or two to accomplish. Throughout the process, they were punctual, polite, efficient, and thoroughly professional. I might add that, in spite of the rigorous physical demands of the job, everyone on the team was super-friendly and in good spirits on a daily basis, which made a rotten situation much easier to deal with. They also did a great job in terms of communication, making themselves readily available to us if we had any questions or concerns, and keeping us updated on their progress at each stage of the process. When we unexpectedly needed to access our storage space to remove selected items, they were very accommodating, and when the time came to return our remaining items to the house, it was accomplished quickly yet with great care. On a final note, I want to acknowledge the wonderful efforts of a gentleman named Edmond, who sort of led the charge and oversaw the day-to-day work at the house. I hope nobody ever needs to use a service like ServiceMaster, but should you ever need to, I wholeheartedly recommend them!
