I was very impressed
We came home for lunch on March 4th, and I walked to our spare bathroom, and it was covered in water. I quickly realized we had a flood happening that was going under the bathroom wall into my meditation room. My heart sank. We called our insurance, and within 30 minutes ServiceMaster was there to start getting the wet carpet out and drying the floors. They did not leave that night until they had everything in place to get my house dry and back on track. I was very impressed. Then they helped me walk down the insurance process and what needed to be done. If I didn't like something, they immediately corrected it and made sure I liked it.
I am thankful they helped me get my home fixed and respected my wishes, my home is my safe space so it's very important to me it's done right.

Very efficient. They showed up within one hour to start remediation. I had a new hot water heater installed within 3 hours. The dehumidifiers were working and carpet and drywall replacement started within two weeks. It took a while to get all the work done, but I am very pleased with the quality of the work. Service Master coordinated with my insurance company.

Servicemaster Was Incredible Anyhow!
I ultimately did not need to use Servicemaster because my insurance company is garbage and rejected my claim. But Servicemaster was incredible anyhow! When I called them about my basement flooding, they gave me a heads up about my insurance company and their experience in these situations, letting me know that my claim might get denied and cautioning me about hiring the company in case insurance wouldn’t cover it. I love the integrity of not just taking my money because they easily could’ve just charged me for work, but they have the consumer in mind too! They definitely had my back and communicated directly with the insurance company, knew the claims adjuster before I even knew his name, and coordinated things before I even had a contract. I was so impressed that they went out of their way to help me when I know everybody else is flooded out this spring too. I will definitely have them on my radar in case I need their services. Thankfully, I ultimately did not have the damage I was anticipating and can handle it at home myself. Thank you so much for such excellent service and compassion! Hard to come by these days.
