My Erie Insurance Agent referred me to ServiceMaster of Lynchburg.
The owner, Mark Holt II, came to my home that morning to assess the damage, and his team removed the wet carpet that afternoon 12/22/25. My gas water heater flooded my guest room and the connected foyer carpet overnight. I received excellent, prompt customer service just a few days before Christmas.
I was given peace of mind that day with the drenched carpet being removed. This prompt response prevented further damage to my home. ServiceMaster of Lynchburg owner Mark Holt II called me every morning (except Christmas Day) to let me know when to expect his team, and what they would be doing each day.

Spoke with owner Mark Holt, was very satisfied and reassured just by our conversation that everything would be taken care of. His guys Rob and Daniel came out promptly. They were prompt, professional, and caring. They explained the process, assessed damage, and immediately dealt with the problems. I was totally satisfied and reassured about their work! They came back the next day to make sure everything was working and drying properly.
They came back a second time to take care of another leak from my water heater. This time Daniel Sr. came and was just as professional, prompt, and caring as the first crew! Everything was dealt with again and I was totally satisfied again!
It's nice to know in this day and time that companies still operate in integrity and honor their word.
