I would highly recommend Service Masters in an unfortunate situation of a devastating event. The 6–7 different members (can't remember all their names, except for Derrick and Alex) of the water restoration team have been absolutely amazing! I'm extremely grateful for the kind, professional, exceptional service provided by ServiceMaster and their team of experts. Several guys have been mitigating water damage to our home from ice dams. Derrick & Alex were the first team to come out. They were professional, thorough & expedient—in addition to being exceptionally kind, caring & compassionate. They understood that I was highly distraught and went above & beyond, reassuring me that everything would be okay. I've had a lot of questions along the way—everything was always explained to me calmly & completely, further providing trust and reassurance through the process. All of the ServiceMaster employees who've worked with us these past couple weeks have been exceptional... Derrick Greer asked me if I would leave an honest review of the experience we had with him and crew. Well, here it is:
After the initial shock of having water damage in our newly renovated kitchen, our concerns started to fade when our claims adjuster recommended ServiceMaster. ServiceMaster contacted me within hours to let me know a crew was assigned and when they would arrive. Derrick and crew were on time and were able to begin the assessment process. The crew was polite, professional, respectful of property and our personal space. They kept us informed and answered any of our questions. When the extent of the water damage increased in size they again handled this openly and honestly. They also showed compassion and understanding. Derrick was very accommodating with scheduling and kept us informed as to any changes.
The pack up went well. Cleaned up equipment and debris. Finished paperwork and close out again, professionally.
Derrick was great and his crew Henry, Hector, and Alex were helpful, professional, respectful of property, and genuinely were interested in the job at hand. Appeared to work well as a team.
Now comes the next hard part… estimation and restoration. Yikes!

ServiceMaster of Monroe came in and packed our house and saved all our personal items, pictures, etc. Then the same company came back in November of 2025 and delivered all our furniture, pictures, etc., and it took them two trips. Best Customer Service During a Crisis
I had the best customer service during a horrible house fire. The trauma you endure living through a house fire, no one knows unless you live through this. Teri is the manager on the restoration team (taking care of all the contents within the house). She has and still does inform me step by step what is being done and walking through this ordeal. She goes above and beyond. Becky is over the team that came and packed up my entire house of 38 years. My husband has ALS and was worried about how they were packing important items. He was not allowed in the house. Becky allowed me to videotape how they were packing his items. He was a mover a long time ago. The video helped him relax and know they were going to take great care of his items. Becky and Atlas held my hand during the packing and allowed me in the house while they were packing things up. I was able to get rid of stuff I haven’t seen for so many years. Becky called or texted me many times asking questions about what I wanted. Atlas was so kind as we were throwing things away and keeping them. I kept apologizing, and she continued stating I am the customer, and they are here to assist me. I felt that the entire time. The temp outside was in the high 80s, and their team was working in my house that was all boarded up and so hot. There was a team of maybe 8-10. No one complained how horribly hot it was inside besides me. I made sure they had Gatorade and ice for their water. I cannot thank them enough for helping me through a horrible situation. Thank you!!!
